Learn more about breast screening at our open evening

Anyone aged 50 to 71, registered with a GP as female and living in Widnes, are invited to attend an informal drop‑in open evening on Saturday 31 October between 8:30am and 1pm, to learn more about breast screening and the services available locally. The open evening will take place at the Mobile screening unit at Highfield Hospital, Highfield Road, Widnes, WA8 7DJ.

This relaxed and informative session offers an opportunity to understand what is involved in breast screening and to speak directly with members of our clinical team, who will be available to answer any questions.

Attendees will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the mobile screening unit, including the screening rooms and equipment. There will also be the option to have a mammogram on the day.

Light refreshments will be provided, and no booking is required.
