Patient information

The patient information section contains a variety of guides and information to assist patients and carers when accessing our services. 

It includes details of:

• how we can support accessible information and communication adjustments and the process for requests to access medical records
• specific information for current and former members of the armed forces and patients from overseas
• how NHS and other public services can help you stay healthy and well as well as information what being a smoke-free site means for patients and visitors to our hospitals, and the stop-smoking support we can offer to our patients
• health services available for when you need urgent health advice and treatment, but it's not an emergency

A separate section covers services that should only be used in an emergency, including those available from our partners, for example mental health, dental, and social services support.
