This service provides information, advice and support for anyone wanting to learn more about equipment for independent living. It is designed for people with disabilities, their carers, and the professionals and organisations involved in their care.

The Independent Living Centre includes permanent displays of both basic and specialist equipment that support independence and caring.

The occupational therapist can offer advice, information and assessment for people considering equipment to help with daily living.

Where equipment needs fall within health or social care provision, the therapist will signpost to the relevant teams.
