Intravenous (IV) therapy refers to medication that is delivered directly into a vein.
The Intravenous Therapy Team can treat a range of conditions safely in the community, including:
- cellulitis (soft tissue and skin infections)
- diabetic foot ulcers
- acute chest infections
- acute urine infections
- spinal infections
- bone infections
