The Warrington Living Well Hub is a pioneering facility, where Warrington residents can access early help and support with their health and wellbeing.
Clinicians from Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust work alongside colleagues from Warrington Borough Council, Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust and the voluntary sector to provide a wide range of health and social care services to families across the borough.
The Living Well Hub, which opened in March 2024, is located within the former Warrington Contact Centre on Horsemarket Street in Warrington town centre.
Developed with the community in mind, the hub – part of the wider Living Well Warrington programme – aims to support you to look after yourself and your family.
It is a safe, welcoming space where you can go to talk and get advice about any challenges that may be impacting on your health and wellbeing.
One of the hub’s great advantages is its handy town centre location, within easy reach of the bus interchange and train station and with ample blue badge parking nearby.
Inside the facility there are a number of clinical and non-clinical rooms, along with pre-booked and drop-in appointment spaces offering a range of services including:
- support for children and families about how to lead healthier and more active lives
- assistance for older residents with early signs of frailty who want to continue to live independently at home
- health visitor advice and guidance
- antenatal/postnatal clinics
- dementia assessments and support
- support for people providing care to others.
Warrington’s Living Well Hub has created a focal point for the health and care system to come together and support early intervention and the prevention of ill health. Both Bridgewater and Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals, along with their partners, are hugely proud to continue to play a key role in the hub’s success.
